CCTV10 Light of Science reported liver cancer survivor Mr. Tan's story at Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital

It’s a miracle that a huge liver cancer patient was responding to treatment and tumor almost completely disappeared. Patient survived free of disease for 11 years, which can be said to be cured. The miracle would not be possible without medical team at FUDA and sequential comprehensive treatment they have adopted. The sequential comprehensive treatment goes like this: hepatic artery embolization was given to block blood-supplying vessels to tumor and starve it; after tumor shrunk, percutaneous cryoablation was given to ablate tumor. After cryoablation, tumor cells were dead and released tumor antigens that has promoted anti-tumor immunity and reduced tumor recurrence.
