A look at the Buddhist temple, Wat Phnom in Phnom Penh, Cambodia thru photos and video. According to the story, Wat Phnom was founded in 1373 by Madam Penh who found four Buddha statues in the river mud near the only hill in the area. A shrine was built to house the statues, which eventually became the pagoda, Wat Phnom.
