Lifetime continues its tradition of turning real-life stories into gripping television with its fall slate of 'Ripped from the Headlines' movies. Leading the charge is 'Buried Alive and Survived,' starring Eva Marcille of 'All The Queens Men' and Tyler Lepley from 'Harlem.' In 'Buried Alive and Survived,' Marcille takes on the role of Alicia, a woman whose life takes a horrifying turn when her ex-husband, Victor—played by Lepley—is released from prison. Based on a story by Nigel Campbell, the movie follows Alicia’s harrowing fight for survival after Victor attempts to reconcile, and when she refuses, he buries her alive. Miraculously, Alicia escapes her grave and begins a desperate search for her son, Malcolm, while evading Victor’s relentless pursuit.
