Train leaves Fairbanks with snow bound for Anchorage

An Alaska Railroad train laden with snow leaves Fairbanks on March 2, 2016. The train is bound for Anchorage, where it will deliver snow to line the streets for the Iditarod’s ceremonial start on March 5. A lack of snow has left many Anchorage roads and trails bare.
