Historian & Broadcaster Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, whose father and paternal grandparents were born in Kenya, debated a BLM activist on the Mau Mau Uprising and Kenya's colonial legacy. In the full-length debate (of which this is just a clip) he pointed out that there were terrible atrocities committed by BOTH sides in the Uprising. And whilst it was absolutely appropriate for The King to express his regret & sorrow for what happened (he did not apologise), why have no Mau Mau ever expressed regret & sorrow or apologised, or been held to account for their crimes. 98% of those killed by the Mau Mau were fellow black African Kenyans.
