The production is a poetic impression, its tone is mournful. The film shows the landscape of Vietnam two years after the end of the war. The Vietnam War lasted nearly 20 years, from 1955 to 1975, it antagonized not only the North and the South of the country but also the two empires: the US and the USSR, together with their satellite states. The film is focused on destructive activity of the United States – we could see some shots of destroyed landscape and photos of the victims juxtaposed with some headlines from the magazine “Time“ promoting American success. This documentary was made by Andrzej Brzozowski, an experienced documentary filmmaker, director of “Rozmowy jazzowe“ (1957), “Archeologia“ (1967), “Pociąg“ (1970), “Negatyw“ (1972) and the feature film titled “Przy torze kolejowym“ (1967).
