This is something I have wanted to make for about 3-4 years. Tri Corner - Trifecta bowl! Making my own exotic plywood from scratch and fading them into a design was a lot of work but very enjoyable. Woodturning had been a hobby but something I would like to do more of. They have 3 accent colors which were placed to each corner. The other bowl blank in the video, #2 is now up. Full Disclosure: I am into this bowl for about 50 hours of labor and $400 in wood alone. I am asking $3,750 with shipping from Alaska. It works out to me making about $55hr for 1 bowl. Will it sell for this much? I'm not sure. Can I keep the lights on in my shop making $55 an hour before taxes and cost of tools? Absolutely not. This video took me around 100 hours to edit. Will I make a return on my time making the video? I hope so but it probably wont. This video will need to do 400,000 views in the next 2 months with the sponsored 70 second ad for me to get my time out of it. This same video would have to do 2,000,000 views without the sponsor for me to get my time out of it. I really hope you guys and gals enjoyed the video, and hopefully I will get some new customers from this as well.
