From the moment that Kawaki was brought into the village, Shikamaru has kept the young boy under tight survelience and warned Naruto that trusting him would be a major mistake. In the time since then, there have been major attacks by Kara against Konoha, and Amado, the former scientist of Kara is once again at the center of suspicion, stating that he had no intention of betraying Konoha in Boruto chapter 60, but refusing to disclose why he's pushing Kawaki to take back his karma seal or be upfront with his true motives. Shikamaru has placed Sumire on duty to watch Amado and she's openly stated that she doesn't trust Amado. However, with Amado working on yet another cyborg, a question has to be asked, is Amado setting the stage for an Aizen level of betrayal and is Sumire putting herself in danger by being so forceful in her suspicion of Amado?
