Hi everyone! In this video, you will see how I made a small practical kitchen with a large clay fireplace in my cliff shelter and thus raised my ambiance to a higher level. I made the wooden structure from solid oak posts, and I made the preparation for the roof from flat boards that I brought with me from civilization to the wilderness. For the waterproofing of the roof, I used a waterproof, UV-stable PVC membrane that is used to make industrial roofs. As a fastening material for the roof, I used steel molding that I fixed with nails. I later used that molding to make a sturdy dome for the fireplace out of clay and mud. I made the walls out of dead chestnut logs and closed the slats with clay. I made the window that I mount in the video in my home workshop from recycled materials. The works were very demanding considering the configuration of the terrain and lasted five working days. To eat, I prepared a very tasty beef tripe in a clay pot.
