Boys boxing at Karen New Year, Myanmar (Burma)

Boxing matches are part of the celebrations of Karen New Year in Taungale, near Hpa-an, the capital of Kayin (Karen) State, Myanmar (Burma). Young boys are eager to have a go and to the sound of a traditional orchestra they go for it, under the watchful eye of a referee.
