I-Tal food is derived from the word “vital“, namely natural, pure and clean food. Taste for I-Tal has developed alongside Rastafarian engagement with the valorization of traditional knowledge about health and ethnomedicine, small farming and land use, all while promoting sustainability. Its motto could be “ live simply, so that others may simply live“. We will travel the island of Jamaica and meet those who withold the knowledge and culture of “agridishes“.
