But some of it might be important to you, if you want to replicate this run. The purge events usually hit before the civil war break out. You can reload for better outcomes on non-ironman, otherwise you need to restart from scratch. Some purge events, at least for me, are an automatic restart. Especially those that cost 120pp to dismiss or put penalties on pp gain or army performance. You can combine dismissing purge events with territory decisions and NKVD Primacy to kick off the civil war without grinding for RNG too much. If you encounter leader traits during the justification marathon, skip them for until after you declared on the first batch of nations or postpone until the Axis or Japan war. You can 'steal' Ethiopia from Italy during the first peace conference, since Italy is only technically at war with Ethiopia, hence why they also aren't taking part in the peace conference. In case Socialist Italy spawns with territory and becomes your puppet, you need to diplo-annex them through the Autonomy System (DLC-exclusive mechanic from Together for Victory). That's why I took the focus 'Long Live the Workers' Government'. It provides 100pp and makes an annexation possible more quickly. The more pp you've 'lost' prior, the longer this step is going to take. Lower autonomy by land-leasing convoys, but remember that you'll have to lower their autonomy twice - so don't send everything at once. Both steps combined are going to cost 325pp. If you need to declare on nations before the end of a war after wiping the map nearly clean during the war with the Allies, make sure that they cannot gain significant territory or otherwise they might rise up to become major nations. Unless you have the timing down perfectly, do not mix the war with Germany and Japan. Japan is going to leave Axis and form its own faction through a focus around that time.
