Synterm - Powdered pre-polymer of thermally-expandable syntactic foam We present video that shows how Synterm works in the manufacture of products from Polymer Composite Materials. Synterm forms the prepreg creating pressure inside the enclosed volume of the mold. Syntactic foam is obtained in a closed volume of mold by heating Synterm powder. Synterm 100% powder turns into syntactic foam, so the utilization of the material is almost 100%. There is no need to cut the foam blank from the block by cutting off the excess and adjusting the shape. When using Synterm there is nothing superfluous, and the foam will take the form of a mold.
