How do you pull 1 pass lines? In this video I go over and dive into the approach that I take upon pulling 1 pass lines. For me my style of tattoos are greatly around dense lines and tattoos with a lot of details. So a LARGE portion of my tattoos are lined based. So naturally my approach is to get into the skin as smooth and precise as possible and get out as quick as possible while ensuring I input the ink as I need. So in order to do this there are multiple variables that I consider upon pulling 1 pass lines. I consider the setup I am using which will impact the overall approach I take to achieve 1 pass lines. I am considering the voltage in which I am comfortable with lining at, I am considering the needle depth in which the needle goes into the skin. I am considering how far my needle hangs out of my tattoo machine as well. I am also considering how fast my hand is moving for my voltage I am using.
