19 окт. 2024 г. #sunspot #solarflare #CME Sunspot AR 3856 has a delta-class magnetic field that harbors energy for X-class solar flares. The dangerous sunspot is directly facing Earth and any associated CME will be Earth-directed. Solar activity reached moderate levels with mulptiple M-class solar flares. The largest flare was an M6.5 from Region 3854. Region 3852 produced an M1.1 flare at 18/17:36 UTC and followed shortly with an M4.8 flare at 18/19:38 UTC. The region’s last M-class event of the period was an impulsive M4.7 flare at 18/23:29 UTC. Associated with the event was a Type II radio sweep (est. 480 km/s). Both regions are rotating closer to the west limb so any potential eruptions at this point should be directed away from our planet. #sunspot #solarflare #CME Images credit: nemesis maturity channel, AIA/SDO/HMI, Music credit: YouTube Audio Library Ladybag - Quincas Moreira
