Featured is the chess game between Volodar Murzin and Juan Sebastian Melian from the 2023 FIDE World Youth Chess Championship | U18. Murzin plays the London System and obtains a decisive advantage after only 7 moves. Melian is one of many masters to fall victim to this trap in the London System. Why do you think this trap continues to catch master level players? I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
