The BMW R 1250 RT is the next motorcycle to move up to 1300 for next year, following in the footsteps of the R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure models. This is the first glimpse of the new look brought by the revamp. The German new block is headed to the RT grand touring bikes, having released a new 1300cc boxer rated at 145 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque for the company's flagship GS. Of course, the new 2025 model won't be satisfied with just getting a big liquid twin with Shiftcam distribution; Additionally, it will most likely receive changes and better hardware. Unlike the current model which is more rounded, early images from Motorrad appear to show a more angular appearance. But most importantly, the car may use a new electrical system that allows the side fairing pieces to be extended or folded, thereby increasing the rider's leg protection.
