Gil from GilLiesHere's excellent post-AMV on Now and Then: Now and Then, Here and There (Ima, soko ni iru boku) is a tightly plotted grim show, with an ED that seems to have total contrast. In this video I try to examine why I think it's actually pretty genius. This was a bit of an experiment for me: trying out more standard video essay editing. Unfortunately with my new job I don't really have the time anymore to make all my videos in the same fashion. I don't want to completely abandon my style or aesthetic, but expect to see more content like this in the future.
