Artillerymen of the combined arms army destroyed enemy stronghold   Artillerymen of the volunteer detachment BARS of the combined arms army of the Southern Military District with precise mortar fire destroyed a stronghold of the nationalist units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction. In order to promptly complete assigned tasks, mortar crews are on duty around the clock. After receiving data on the coordinates and nature of the target, the crew of the 2B11 120-mm mortar aimed the gun and hit the target from camouflaged firing positions. Artillery fire is adjusted using aircraft-type reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles or quadcopters. After each shot, the crew restores the gun’s aiming and makes adjustments. The military personnel work quickly, firing no more than five shots at the target in order to prevent return fire from the enemy.
