Governor, you want a little piece, come on over.“ STORYLINE: Former U.S. President Donald Trump ate pizza with firefighters in the state of Iowa where he was campaigning for the Republican Party's 2024 nomination. He was joined by North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum for pizza at the fire station in Waukee which happened after Trump held a rally in the state. Iowa caucuses, are the opening contest in the months-long Republican presidential primary process. Burgum endorsed Donald Trump ‘s comeback bid for the White House earlier Sunday ahead of the Iowa caucuses, a month after he ended his own longshot campaign for the Republican nomination. Trump, the heavy front-runner in Monday’s caucuses, opted for “tele-rallies” after canceling larger in-person events due to a blizzard blanketing much of the state, but he remained confident as he looks for a big victory to blunt the potential rise of any rival.
