Mike Mangini Improvised Drum Solo Nashville 2023

This drum solo was recorded on a Zoom Q2n4K Camera. I have not played a live solo in TOO MANY YEARS, so this was FUN. The solo’s purpose is to promo Pearl’s new High End Reimagined Drum & Hardware Line of products. Therefore, the solo is made up of modules that highlight each part of the kit like a written essay would do. The foot pattern of LRR was a theme because that pattern starts A View From the Top of the World, which follows the solo. The intro to AVFTTOTW was kept in at the conclusion of this solo.
