Today, our Special Enforcement Bureau - Emergency Services Detail unit, in collaboration with the @CountyofLA Emergency Services (EMS) Agency and the American Heart Association, hosted a “Hands Only CPR“ training to raise awareness about the importance of CPR training. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a critical lifesaving procedure performed when someone’s heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival for cardiac arrest victims. Our sworn and professional staff at the Hall of Justice participated in the CPR training and learned how to save a life in less than 90 seconds.
