Bush, initiated the 2nd Iraq war with the aim of removing the baathist regime under the false allegations of “Weapons of Mass Destruction“. The first phase of the war was called “Shock and Awe“ and the aim was to simply bomb the hell out of the Iraqi population so that they would submit to the U.S in regards to the objective of removing Saddam and installing a pro-U.S regime.
