This lovely piece for a string quartet with a viola da gamba in place of the first violin was written by Carl Stamitz sometime in the 1780s. It's a great example of the viola da gamba's inclusion in late 18th century music! Musicians: Jane Leggiero, viola da gamba Phaik Tzhi Chua, violin Jonathan Goya, viola Rebecca Reed, cello Recorded April 4, 2023 in Cleveland, OH
