Full title reads: “London. The Grenadier Guards remember Old Comrades! That grand old Veteran Guardsman the Duke of Connaught - 'takes the Salute' after Regimental Remembrance Day Service.“ London. Ranks of veterans in civilian dress march. Group of dignitaries including the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor). Several of the men are wearing medals. The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) and the Duke of Connaught inspect veterans of the Grenadier Guards. The Prince (commanding the men who served with him in the Great War) gives the order to stand easy. The Duke continues to inspect the men. Some are dressed in top hat and tails, some in lounge suits, all are wearing hats.
