I’m really enjoying painting with these bright vivid greens on my new Canson watercolour paper! I made the switch recently and have been getting used to the way the paints behave on 100% cotton paper. It’s a longer dry-time and the paper absorbs the paint beautifully. Such smooth gradients! The darkest green is Daniel Smith’s Green Apetite Genuine, which granulates to show of a spectrum of amazing green tones, really helps bring out the texture in the leaves. This is a work in progress (and a sneaky reveal!) of a recent house portrait commission. I’m coming to the end of my current projects and will be taking on more in April.
