A 67-year-old woman on regular follow-up endoscopy for esophageal varices was admitted to the hospital with upper GI bleeding. the scope revealed multiple #gastric polyps. the patient was referred for band ligation of the polyps as a cause of the bleeding. NOTES: 1- there is bleeding from the fundus of the stomach and not from the polyps 2- you can observe many tags at the fundus( site of previously injected fundal varices) you can see there is a groove from previously injected fundal varix how to proceed and why?
