Yosakoi (よさこい) is a style of dance that originated in Kochi Japan. Each choreography is unique and performed by large dancer teams of men and women of various ages. Colorful costumes, face paint, and small wooden clappers are used by Yosakoi teams. There were 200 teams and about dancers this year in the 5 day Kochi festival.
