Lightning caused four fires in Plumas National Forest on Monday during an afternoon thunderstorm, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The four fires are being referred to as the Gold Complex Fire. Altogether, the complex is estimated to have burned 700 acres, Cal Fire said. All four fires are growing quickly due to wind, slope and dry conditions, the forest service said Source: Police frequency
