You absolutely hate to see this

Since coming into the league, Connor Bedard has undoubtably impressed. He’s shown us why he was the number one pick, why he’s a generational talent. It took some time to break in, but the kid is the real deal. But at 18, he's still jus that. A kid. He’s certainly on the smaller side and there has been an undertone of worry that its just a matter of time before he takes a hit that really leaves him shaken up and tonight, in what was a chippy game between the Devils and Blackhawks, that's exactly what happened. Connor Bedard took a hit from Smith and immediately went off the ice holding his jaw. The game went into absolute chaos from there on out as you may expect in what was a fun one. Notably, Jack Hughes ALSO went down the tunnel with an apparent injury late in the game as you really hate to see two of the leagues brightest young stars injured in the same game.
