Arex has developed MTX training ammunition that is designed to be safely used for force-on-force training. MTX training ammunition works in real firearms with small modification/upgrade that helps it cycle and eject normally but also it prevents accidental fire of real rounds with the system installed. MTX ammo looks very similar to normal ammunition and is powered by a pyrotechnical primer. The projectiles consist of a plastic cup filled with colored paste that is non-toxic, a brass sealing ring and rubber butt for added mass.
