If you're visiting Luang Prabang, Laos, you MUST take a day trip to the Kuang Si Waterfalls. If you're comfortable on a motorbike, we'd highly recommend renting a motor bike and driving yourself to the waterfalls. It's a very beautiful drive! Once at the Kuang Si Waterfalls you can pay a small fee to park your bike and it will be safe and sound! The waterfalls are separated into different levels. The falls get more beautiful with each level you ascend. The final waterfall is a huge 100 foot waterfall. Most people stop on the bridge below to admire the falls. However, if you hike up the path beside the waterfall, and you're willing to “break the rules“, you'll be rewarded with the amazing experience of sitting on the edge of the Kuang Si Falls!
