George interviews Simon Evans about post Brexit labour shortages

One of the more predictable outcomes of Brexit is the shortage of labour in Britain in certain sectors. Millions of workers have come to the UK over decades; mainly from East and Central Europe, usually to seek higher wages than they would have earned back home. Paradoxically, many have now returned home to better rates of pay. But what does their departure mean for Britain, with the backdrop of rotting fruit in the fields, empty shelves in the shops and, most importantly, a shortage of truckers on the motorways?
