The Grand Burlesque Opera of “Tabasco“ is a comic/ light opera in two acts by American composer George Whitefield Chadwick and librettist Robert A. Barnet. Although successful, Chadwick and Barnet pulled the show from performance due to royalties evasion by theatrical impresario Thomas Q. Seabrooke. Musicologist John-Peter Springer Ford presents his research into to the work for the University of Mississippi's Graduate Research Symposium in March 2021.
