Ice ice baby - Europe's biggest ice exhibition opens doors in Brandenburg

Follow us on Telegram: Subscribe to our channel! The magical new sculptures of Europe’s largest ice exhibition have been unveiled in Brandenburg on Friday. The hall, spanning over 2,000 metres squared (21,527 sq/f), features impressive stations of favourite fairytales, including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Little Red Riding hood. 27 artists worked on the sculptures for over just under three weeks, in conditions between -8 and -10 degrees Celsius. Artistic director Othmar Schiffer-Belz said there were “27 artists from all over the world. For the entire exhibition, they did 25 fairy-tale stations, with many, many sculptures. It took around 20 days.“ The exhibition is open for nearly 11 months until October 30 2022.
