A British animal abuser who chopped up pets at his Australian shelter was brought down by online sleuths who identified an orange leash in a dog torture video, it has been revealed. Adam Britton, 29, was arrested in June 2023 after police raided his property in Queensland and found the remains of several animals. He was later charged with 14 counts of animal cruelty, including bestiality and torture. Britton's crimes came to light after a video of him torturing a dog was uploaded to the internet. The video showed Britton whipping the dog with a leash and kicking it in the head. Online sleuths were able to identify the leash in the video as being from the same Australian pet store where Britton worked.
