A Buffalo security guard has been praised after tackling a gunman at a methadone clinic on Thursday. Reynaldo Beckford instinctively sprang into action after a gunman armed with an AR-15 wandered into the clinic and started indiscriminately firing shots. ‘I couldn’t believe what was happening, especially when he let off the first shot,’ Beckford told local news. ‘That’s when I knew that something was definitely wrong,’ he added. Amazingly, Beckford was aided by two civilians, with the three of them eventually overpowering the gunman and removing him from the clinic. The suspect, 48-year-old Jeremy Griffin, has been arrested, and is facing several charges.
