one of my best friends Singer Ollie Lindholm ... he is no longer among us ... sang with his heart ... it could not stand it Yö (eng. “Night“) is one of the most popural rock bands in Finland. Joutsenlaulu from 1984 is one of their biggest hits and is still very much loved. Everybody knows this song. In the Radiomafia’s (finnish radio station) voting Joutsenlaulu was chosen to be the best finnish song. I would say this dark and melancholic song is a part of finnish culture. When you have listened it, you’ll know more and understand better finnish people.
