First Ski Decent of Far East Fay (Covid Couloir)

Due to Glacier recession, the serac (hanging glacier) on the Far East side of Mount Fay has finally receded enough to allow for a brand new ski line. First skied by Sean Murray and Pierre Grabinski on July 11th 2020. This new line dubbed the “Covid Couloir“ (cause its sick), is a properly steep no fall zone with huge exposure, bergschrund to jump at the base and a looming serac for good measure!
