Laugh-In salutes sports by welcoming nine-time Olympic swimming champion, Mark Spitz, and sports broadcasting legend, Howard Cosell, to join in the comedy fun on the hit sketch show, also featuring Vin Scully and Alex Karras, along with show regulars. Hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, this groundbreaking sketch comedy show was a fast-moving barrage of jokes, one-liners, running skits, and musical numbers. The groundbreaking, Emmy Award-winning show, created by George Schlatter, premiered in January, 1968 and ran until March, 1973.
