The Airbus plant in Hamburg-Finkenwerder is one of the world's largest locations for modern aircraft construction. 365 days a year around 16,000 workers and engineers produce here in cooperation with other locations in Europe. The backbone of Airbus logistics: the giant cargo-plane Beluga. Around 2,500 wings, cockpits and hulls were transported by Airbus Belugas every year between the eleven factories in Europe.
