Usher ft. Lil Jon & Ludacris - The Making of 'Yeah!' (Vevo Footnotes) 2004 began with one of the hottest songs ever. Usher put together “Yeah!“ with the kind of dance music mastery that enhances the entire club culture. But the track wasn't part of the historic 'Confessions' from the get-go. The singer planned for “Burn“ to be the album's first single, and then L.A. Reid encouraged him to fine-tune “Yeah!“ until it became the masterpiece it is. Lil Jon made the beat while producing a Mystikal project. It was a strong one. The song topped the Billboard charts for 12 weeks in a row. When it came time to make the video, Director X was was chosen to run the cameras, and he had lots of lasers in mind. No question: lasers always work well. Our Footnotes info can fill you in more, a good way to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary. Check it out.
