There is no disputing that the Packard Motor Car Company enjoyed their glory days in the 1920's and 1930's. Packard automobiles were American luxury automobiles built by the Packard Motor Company of Detroit, Michigan. The first Packard automobiles were produced in 1899, and the last true Packard left the assembly line in 1956. Packard offered nine standard models in the Custom Eight Series for 1928, all riding on a 143-inch wheelbase and powered by a 383 cubic-inch straight-eight engine that produced 109 horsepower. This 1928 example is powered by a Chevy 350 V8 mated to a Turbo 400 transmission with a Chevy Rear End. It rides on 215 75 R15 wire style wheels in the front and 235 75 R15's in the rear on wire wheel style. The shifter positioned in place of the original shift with a tall arm and Aluminum shift knob for easy access. The overall look is of a 1928 Packard with the exception of the wire style wheels and a little more throat up acceleration with the needed power to moving. The exterior is a two tone paint scheme with Crème and Brown offsetting a brown vinyl original Radiator Car and Winged Packard Mascot proudly in place. The two large headlights with lower placed driving lights make for a classic Art Deco appeal in overall design. The interior front bench seat is beige with the rear being a brown cloth to match the carpets. The privacy glass between compartments is in place. At the rear is exterior covered and latched Luggage Box. Longing for a ride in style then look no further. It can be seen in greater detail including 100 HD pictures and a HD video at For additional information please call our sales staff at (702) 830-9215 or email us at Lasvegas@.
