Marsz Polonii - (March of Polonia)

The Polish diaspora is also known in modern Polish language as Polonia, which is the name for Poland in Latin and in many other Romance languages. There are roughly 20 million people of Polish ancestry living outside Poland, making the Polish diaspora one of the largest in the world, as well as one of the most widely dispersed. Reasons for this displacement vary from border shifts, forced expulsions and resettlement, to political and economic emigration. Major populations of Polish ancestry can be found in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and many other European countries, as well as abroad in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Canada and elsewhere in the Americas and Australasia, particularly Australia and New Zealand as well as in South Africa. Polish communities are present in most Asian and African countries. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩GERMAN۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Polonia ist die lateinische Bezeichnung für den Staat Polen und wird in der polnischen Sprache für die polnische Diaspora benutzt, die etwa 15–18 Mio. Menschen in der gesamten Welt umfasst. Das wichtigste Kriterium ist die eigene Herkunft oder die Herkunft der Vorfahren. Die betreffende Person muss hierbei nicht in Polen geboren worden sein. In einigen Quellen werden die Polen in den ehemaligen polnischen Ostgebieten nicht zur Polonia gezählt, da diese nicht aus Polen ausgewandert sind, sondern sich auf Grund von Grenzverschiebungen nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg außerhalb des polnischen Staates wiederfanden. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩POLISH۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Polonia (z łac. Polonia – Polska) – ogół Polaków mieszkających poza granicami Polski. W węższym znaczeniu Polonia to określenie osób poczuwających się do polskiego pochodzenia i związków z polskością, lecz urodzonych poza Polską. Osoby te związki z tradycją i kulturą narodową zachowują w drugim lub w dalszych pokoleniach i na różnym poziomie identyfikowania się z polskimi sprawami. Określenie to dotyczy np. polskich społeczności w USA, Kanadzie, Francji, Brazylii, w których dominują osoby, których przodkowie opuścili Polskę dziesiątki lat temu.
