Uppingham, Rutland. Various shots of an Alsatian dog called Fox doing several tricks in a field, under the instruction of his owner and trainer Ted Toon. Fox jumps through hoops, climbs up a ladder and along a tightrope, carries an egg in his mouth without breaking it, jumps through Ted's arms, carries a pole with a flame at each end up a ladder and across a plank and jumps through a flaming hoop. Local farmers look on. Ted's other dog, Rita, leaps over a high wall. Ted sits on a chair and a man ties his feet together. Fox undoes the knot with his teeth. Finally we see Fox and Rita jump into Ted's arms. Commentator says “And here's how they show their affection for their master... who taught them their tricks only with kindness“ - aah!
