Hello Everyone, This is a start-to-finish watercolor painting demonstration in real-time. In this video, I cover intention, interpretation, design, formatting, composition, values, drawing, perspective, etc. The overall subject matter is how to work from sketches and memory rather than from reference photos. The scene is in Greece - the Temple of Apollo Epicurius in Bassae from about 450 BC. The original sketch I did on-site from a visit there many years ago. Sketches can have value for years. They record more than just what it is you look at and rather, what “you see“ . They record your experience, your initial creative impulse. Thanks for watching!
