I´m aboard the Ventisquero, a fishing vessel that catches Chilean jack mackerel just off the coast of Chili. All done in a sustainable way, of course! Chef Sandro, our culinary maestro on board, is about to unveil his favorite mackerel dish: ceviche from jack mackerel. In this video we'll show you how to make this fresh dish with vibrant colors and beautiful flavors! This incredible fish offers a superb alternative to Atlantic mackerel, which lost its MSC certification in 2019 due to disputes over fishing quotas, leading to overfishing. But not to worry, once you have tasted the jack mackerel, you don't want anything else. It's oily, packed with healthy omega-3 acids and super, super tasty!
