This release is a gift to all my guitarist friends and those of you who just love guitar. Steve Vai brought his INVIOLATE TOUR to the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 and performed for 2.5 HOURS in front of a SOLD OUT crowd! This is ALL of it. I rarely upload full concerts, but this show was just too good to cut up, so I decided to put it up in its entirety. The entire performance has been preserved as it happened beginning to end. Hopefully this helps keep the memories alive for those who were lucky enough to see it, and eases some of the pain of those who missed it. The first 55 minutes are just single camera video shot from the 6th row on my old Lumina camera. Just before the first battery died, I pulled out my cellphone and handed it to Richard to shoot with til I was done swapping batteries so that I wouldn't have a gap in the song. Instead he shot the rest of the show on that as well, so the 2nd half of this video gets the benefit of 2 camera footage. Special Thanks to Richard Colp for providing the ticket to the show that allowed me the opportunity to capture this, as well as the additional camera work that made sure I got it all! Enjoy!!!!
