In this leather craft video, I replace the generic sheath that came with my Estwing Sportsman’s Axe with a new custom tooled leather sheath. The sheath is intricately tooled all around and features a steel belt clip on the backside that allows the sheath to be taken on and off without belt removal. I tried to match the color scheme of the axe handle by applying a combination of walnut and chocolate color dyes and by stitching the sheath together using white Tiger thread. I hope you enjoy this axe sheath making video and can pick up a few tips and techniques for creating your own. What is the Gospel? 👇 Check out my work on my Instagram account .
