Soul Motivators - Until the Sun Goes Down

The goal of our “minimalist“ recording sessions is to capture the vintage, live-off-the-floor vibe that was so prevalent in recording styles during the '60's and '70's. In our attempt to recreate that retro style and sound, we limit ourselves to a maximum of 8 microphones (or less!) to record the session. This particular session with The Soul Motivators was recorded with 5 microphones. The vocals and guitar solos were overdubbed, but the track was otherwise recorded live-off-the-floor at Verge Music Lab
